About CES

Chickamauga Elementary School is located south of the Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park in Chickamauga, Georgia. The campus is part of the historic Chickamauga area. The school has a warm and caring climate with a home-like atmosphere. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with old oak trees and blooming flowers.

Almost six hundred students attend Chickamauga Elementary, and the school is staffed by about sixty employees. The school presently has twenty-nine classrooms, media center, music room, cafeteria, and gym. The students have specialized classes in music, physical education, and keyboarding each week.  Students also have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities such as chorus, robotics and track.

A supportive, safe environment is provided to help nurture each child. The students are encouraged to grow intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally.
